Charissa Thompson

Thompson quit FOX Sports in 2010 and pulled double duty as the host for Versus and Yahoo Sports. She anchored Versus' NHL studio coverage, and made web-based videos for the well-known Yahoo platform. That included directing the website's involvement in key events like the 2010 Winter Olympics. FIFA World Cup. Super Bowl XLV. and BCS National Championship. Success in these two arenas led her to get a job with ESPN as one of its hosts for the new evening show "Numbers Never lie," beginning in August of 2011. In the following year, she was promoted to "SportsNation," she enjoyed an extended run of great success. The network was shut down to launch FS1 in Los Angeles, May 2013 and returned to Los Angeles. Thompson as a sports lover at heart has shown impressive flexibility in navigating the world of entertainment programming. In June 2014, after numerous part-time assignments Thompson was named permanent co-host of the Hollywood nightly newsmagazine "Extra". While co-hosting, she filmed in Universal Studios as well as hosting award shows with a staff and gatherings regularly. Charissa Charissa Charissa
